Kibaale District Leaders Commission construction works worth Ugx 1.9B
Kibaale district local government have commissioned completed construction works worth 1.9 billion shillings at St John Baptist Kasimbi Seed secondary school in Kasimbi Sub County Kibaale district.
The project that was contracted by SASALI contractors ltd at a cost of Ugx 1.9B included construction of 2 classroom blocks and administration block including furniture, ICT block, 10,000 Ltr capacity rain water harvesting tank and 3 drainage pit latrine with 10 stances at St John Baptist Seed School Kasimbi.
While commissioning the facilities, Godwin Angalia Kasigwa, the Resident District Commissioner Kibaale acknowledges the wonderful work done by the contractor, asking the school management to ensure proper maintenance and tasked them to educate their children for a bright future.
St John Baptist Kasimbi Msgr Peter Kaberenge, the episcopal Vicar Kagadi Vicariate who is also chairperson board at St John Baptist Kasimbi Seed School hailed Kibaale district leadership for responding to their outcry and promised to improve the educational standards.
Tibaingana Ategeka, the LC3 chairperson, John Providence Bizimungu and Yudita Ayamba, district councilors representing Kasimbi Sub County applauded the ruling government for fulfilling its Manifesto appealing to the chief administrative officer to recruit workers including teachers that will be highly needed at the school.
The function was graced by the presence of Gorret Nambiro who represented DEO, Jackson Alinaitwe, DISO Kibaale, Moses Kitamilike, DPC and lower local leaders among others.
