WATER PROJECT WORTH OVER UGX 300M LAUCHED IN KIBAALE

Karama Sub County Residents in Kibaale District have been urged to use safe water to live healthy lives.

The call was made by Godwin Angalia the RDC Kibaale during the launching of the second phase of the mega piped water project valued at over Ugx 300M at Kitutu trading center, Karama Sub County - Kibaale District.

While presenting the contract summary Ben Sekuya the District Water Engineer on behalf of KRUT Supplies and Logistics Limited the contracting company, noted; the project will serve at least 5000 people basically in areas of Kitutu central and neighboring places.The project started on 3rd January this year and is expected to end on 30th June , fitting within its contract period of 6 months.

Godwin Angalia Kasigwa the RDC Kibaale he notes that government wants its people to start utilizing clean water to avoid and carb water diseases that are costing the citizens their lives. He asked them to value the project and ensure they extend taps in their homes for convinience.

Deo Kabugo the Deputy CAO tasked the residents to guard and protect their projects jelously, especially from those who want to destroy them.

Representing Hon. Godfrey Muhonge Kasanga the District Chairperson, Secretary for Finance Hon. Gertrude Katusiime urged the contractors to employ the locals so that they benefit from the projects returns.
