Minister Kasaija Roots for Youth Involvement in Climate Change Campaigns

Finance Minister who doubles as Buyanja MP, Matia Kasaija has urged the youth and other members of communities to do much to mitigate the impact of climate change.

Kasaija who was addressing youth leaders at Sunset Beach in Karuguuza town over the weekend said that a lot needs to be done, to boost Uganda's effort to deal with Climate Change and specifically pointing out the recognition of the role of youths' participation in the tree planting campaign.  

Kasaija was commenting in response to the youth leaders’ suggestions fronted to him that conserving the environment and keeping Kibaale green is part of their work plans.Minister Kasaija has also rallied the youth to engage in government programs like Youth Livelihood Program, Emyooga, and Parish development model among others that are meant to alleviate them from poor livelihoods.
