The MP Buyanja East Constituency Dr. Emily Kugonza implores locals to put more effort in educating their children calling on the learners to be patient while in school for their success.

Officiating as the Chief Guest, Dr. Emily made the call while addressing the gathering at the commissioning function of a 2 classroom block valued at over 8.5million one of the extended class at St. Edwards Kitengeeto Primary School. The function was held at St. Edwards Kitegeeto Government Aided Primary school in Matale Sub County Kibaale district whereby the 2 class room block was achieved from the contribution of community members and some leaders like Dr. Emily Kugonza and Noeline Basemera. He further appeals the public to continue embracing the government programs to help them boost their daily income to act as startup capital in every house hold however, he supported with 1million shillings towards the completion of the remaining works. 

Noeline Basemera Kisembo the Woman MP Kibaale District who also used the same opportunity asking the community especially women to put more emphasis on hard work for the development of their home places and also contributed 500, 000 shillings towards the support on the school.

The function however started with Holy Mass that was led by Rev Fr. Joseph Kakooza of Buseesa Catholic Parish who expressed the importance of educating children appealing parents to stop relying on government’s facilities only but also fulfill their obligations. 

Led by Mark Kyaboona the Chairperson Magement Committee stakeholders and pioneers appreciated for the community support as well as from leaders.

The function was also attended by different dignitaries including some of the district education department officials, district councilors, OBs and OGs Kitengeeto Primary School and local leaders among others.
